Happy International Women’s Day 2024

Did you know….. according to Statistics Canada (2019), 80% of Canadians working within the non-profit sector are women?

Contributing their time, resources, and expertise, women within the sector continue to drive positive change throughout society. 

This year the theme of International Women’s Day is “Inspire Inclusion”. It is an important reminder that positive collective action improves the lives of everyone and therefore requires the efforts of everyone.  

AFP Greater Toronto Chapter (AFP GTC) wishes to recognize all the inspiring fundraising professionals who continually do what they can to make a positive difference in women’s lives and for those around the world.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, AFP GTC is pleased to announce that in partnership with TD, we are hosting –In Conversation-Women in Philanthropy, a panel discussion to explore the many themes from TD Wealth’s Women and Philanthropy Report 2023 titled “Trust and Transformation: Canadian Women and Philanthropy“

The report highlights the significant role of women in philanthropy in Canada and emphasizes that women are increasingly becoming key players in the philanthropic sector, contributing not only financially but also through their time and expertise.
